ReGenLab has staff composed of entrepreneurs, pharmacists, medical engineers, as well as commercial and administrative staff.
The management team has solid expertise in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries gained at corporations such as Ciba-Geigy, Immunotech, Galephar as well as hands on experience with start-up environments.
Antoine Turzi - CEO

Antoine Turzi was born in Rizziconi, Italy, in 1955, and has French nationality. After completing his scholarship in south-west of France, he graduated in Law at the University of Paris.
He returned to the University of Geneva after the 40th to follow post-graduate studies in Biomaterials with specialisation in chemistry, physic of materials and biology (ref. Hon. Prof. JM Meyer).

During the last 7 years, Antoine Turzi focused his time mainly to develop activities in the pharmaceutical field. He created Galéphar SA, specialised in the marketing of antiseptic & disinfectants. He also conducted clinical studies, testing novel treatments for wound healing for French and Canadian biotech labs.

In parallel Antoine founded a biotech company, RegenLab, specialised in wound healing, relying on a proprietary technology based on blood manipulation for growth factors collection and concentration named “RegenKit”. (Patented)

Another technology “Albugel”, based on Autologous albumin extraction used after forming a membrane for the prevention of post-op adherences. (Patented)

On the regulatory compliance and clinical research monitoring Antoine obtained for the both Regenlab and Galephar, Swissmedic accreditation for development and marketing of pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, and through its notify body SQS, the certifications ISO 9001-2000 & 13485-2003 and finally the CTI start-up Label (which is a Swiss Federal quality label on venture readiness for external financing & sustainability).

On intellectual properties, Antoine filed two patents: one is the RegenKit, which include RegenTHT plus RegenBCT collectors tubes to enhance the blood collection of growth factors; the second is albumin protein extraction for prevention of post operative complication and drug delivery, bioresorbable, autologous and/or homologous. The second patent has been already published; the first one will be published soon, .

Due to his interest in the biotech field, Antoine organised two Biotech’s conferences under the name of “biobridge.ch” at the Red Cross head quarters and at the United Nations Organisation Geneva. He plans to organise one more conference at UNO, involving East and West countries.
